At once, Jesus realized that power had gone out of him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, 'Who touched my clothes?'"
Mark 5: 27-34
He knows it and she knows it. Both Jesus and the woman know he has healed her chronic suffering, yet he wants to speak to her. It's not that he wants to chastise her but he wants to personally assure her that her faith has made her whole. He desires eye contact, conversation, a personal touch. By addressing her as "daughter", he accepts her into his family.
How beautiful is that?
